A plaque will also be hung in the school, which will show each year’s recipient of the Corey A. Hill Memorial Scholarship. Corey has a tree and brick in his honor in front of Nottingham High School – donated by his fellow Nottingham Class of 1999 alumni.
At East Syracuse Minoa, eligible candidates will be considered by the following factors: their application, GPA, a personal essay, and two recommendations. The foundation’s Board of Directors will then choose the most qualified candidate to receive the scholarship at ESM’s awards night.
All winners will be recognized at the Corey A. Hill Celebration of Life Event in July.
